Deanna is first a follower of Jesus, then a wife, mother, Children’s minister, perpetual student of God’s Word, leadership coach, and teacher.
Deanna has been in children’s ministry since she was 8 years old leading her first backyard Bible Club with a friend, Deanna has grown a passion for leading with a clear vision of legacy in ministry.
Deanna believes Jesus and glitter are essentials for life!
Deanna worked as a children’s minister in a church for over 10 years and is currently the Volunteer Coordinator for INCM.
In the church setting she has led kid’s ministry through a mobile church era, building project, relaunch, and the changes COVID-19 brought into the church. She has navigated volunteer relationships, church decline followed by growth, and launching of a weekday preschool among other things.
Prior to being on staff at a church, she helped transition a mental health professional from a group practice into solo practice and back into group practice where she was the Practice Administrator.

Deanna has a Bachelor’s degree from Point University in Biblical Studies, with a focus on Christian Education. She’s also got a Certificate in Children’s Ministry from KidzMatter’s Kidmin Academy and is a Certified Leadership Coach through the International Network of Children’s Ministry (INCM). In May 2023, she finished up the Engage Certificate in Pastoral Care from INCM and Bethel Seminary. She’s currently working towards her Master’s in Human Services Counseling: Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University, which she expects to complete in May 2024. On top of that, she’s also becoming a Mental Health Peer Coach through the American Association of Christian Counselors.
